Our Mission
Enriching every child's school experience
Friends of Lanercost School work with the school to fundraise and provide additional extras for the children. Among other events, FOLS hosts discos, bingo nights, provides food for Christmas parties, organises Easter egg hunts, and offers refreshments for the Lanercost Cross Country event, alongside social gatherings for the families of children at the school.
Money raised contributes towards annual Christmas treats such as pantomimes or plays, subsidises travel costs for educational trips, assists with topic-based learning field trips, and has helped finance new sporting equipment and uniforms, among other school requests. We also proudly support the school council in its fundraising initiatives.
